We were looking for restaurants to try out and this one came across my search under “new Mexican restaurant in Valdosta.” They had a buffet but we’re not really buffet people. Although it wasn’t on the menu, they prepared chilaquiles con queso fresco y crema y salsa verde for me and paid attention when I said I did not want it with any sort of meat. I also ordered empanadas de papa to-go and my husband had the carne asada. We couldn’t finish the food it was so delicious and so very filling. I used to live in Mexico and it reminded me of the vibe and food I would have at the tiny restaurante on the corner. Susanna from Hidalgo, I think she might be the owner, was incredibly sweet. On the way out my husband ordered a Cuban sandwich to have later, lol. We’re definitely going back. ”
